That said, having lived in the cities all my life until relocating to the country, I have found that I am still suffering from a bit of culture shock, specifically with the lack of creative opportunities that offer themselves up out here in the "boonies". It has been a struggle to say the least, and with the economy being about one quarter of what it is in the Twin Cities area, and businesses closing on a regular basis or not having the budget to allow for design work, it has been quite difficult finding steady work as a freelance designer.
So, after months of contemplation, I have decided it is best to return to working in the Twin Cities area. This will allow me to work in my field, and have the opportunity to regularly surround myself with more creative, design-minded people who will equally engage in inspiring new ideas, as well as provide opportunities to continue learning.
Though I prefer not to post my resume online, should you have a position available that you think may be a good fit for me, or if are interested in viewing it for potential referral purposes, please feel free to send me an email (via the contact page), and I will send it off to you.
I hope this message is finding you well & enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
